Mite Box Offerings and Mission Grants
Following the example of the widow's mite (Luke 21:1–4), WinGS members faithfully donate mite offerings at each meeting. These offerings support Kansas District and national LWML Mission Grants.

Shown below are grants to which Ascension Pratt has connections:
2018 — Ascension WinGS was a recipient of a
Kansas God's Gracious Gift Fund Grant
for $218 for the Prayer Shawl Ministry.

2018 — Ascension Lutheran was a recipient of a Kansas Mission Grant for $5,000 for church worship supplies, Bibles, and music resources.
2022 — An LWML Mission Grant of $56,750 was presented to Messiah Lutheran, Hays, for their partnership with Spiritual and Physical Food for Children of Peru.


2021 — An LWML Mission Grant of $50,000 was presented to Holy Cross Lutheran, Wichita, for their partnership with Lights
for Christ Scholarships — Divine Savior Lutheran Church, Zacapa, Guatemala.
2020 — A Kansas God's Gracious Gift Fund Grant of $5,300 was presented to Ascension Lutheran, Wichita, for their mission project supporting Mwadui Lutheran School, Tanzania, to finish construction of a medical clinic at the school where conditions such as malaria are treated.


2019 — An LWML Mission Grant of $30,000 was presented to LeadaChild, Overland Park, for teacher hubs that will support teachers in schools in Liberia and other African and Asian countries.
